The GT/B utilizes a proprietary custom hinge, created by Genaddi Design Group Lead Engineer Bernard Guerin. This upgrade to the Ford GT Coupe features vertical butterfly doors enabling them to open with less than 21-inches of clearance. Allowing the Ford GT owner to park virtually anywhere a normal car could park.  An amazing fact is, that should the owner request it later, the GT can easily be returned to its stock appearance.

“The inspiration for the GT/B came from the easy access doors of the Enzo Ferrari, Mc Llaren F1 and Saleen S7,” says Mark Gerisch, founder of the Genaddi Design Group.  “The one thing that separates our door from the others would be the single point hinge. Available as an upgrade to the Ford GT Coupe, we have taken the elegance of the butterfly door and created a unique hinge that is unnoticeable from the exterior of the car.”  This adds yet another unique option available to the Ford GT owner, further enhancing the legend of this great American supercar.
